The Zimbabwe Miners Federation (ZMF) is a government initiative to effect sustainable growth and meaningful transformation of the artisanal and small-scale mining industry. It is Zimbabwe largest mining body with over 1.5 million members, that contribute an annual average of 60% of the total gold deliveries to Fidelity Printers and Refiners (FPR) the country's sole gold buyer.

Realising Potential and Significance of ASM
The Zimbabwe Miners Federation (ZMF) realises the significance and potential of the Artisanal and Small-scale Mining (ASM) sector in the mainstream economy, contributing 60% to export receipts with the Artisanal and Small-scale Miners (ASM) being the leading players in the crucial sector. The development and sustaining of the industry sector is a need.

Zimbabwe Miners Federation in conjunction with Bluedrum endeavour to assist the artisanal, small and large-scale mining sectors. Bluedrum is a special purpose vehicle that aims to be a catalyst for developing a sustainable mining environment in Zimbabwe.
