The Zimbabwe Miners Federation (ZMF) held its Provincial Elections for Manicaland province at
Mutare Museum today 01/06/21.Candidates vied for the post of Chairman and Secretary for women affairs.
Judith Shadaya resoundingly beat her rival John Chinonzwa to gunner for the post of Manicaland Chairman while Susan Dumbura had a landslide victory against her two contestants Brenda Mambwerere and Maria Masimba to win the post of Secretary for women affairs.
In attendance were members of ZMF national executive that included Madam President Ms Henrietta Rushwaya, Vice President Mr Marufu Sithole ,Mr Morgan Mugawu the Secretary General and Mr Lufeyi Shato the treasurer
The Provincial Mining director from Ministry of Mines and Mining Development for Manicaland Province Mr Ernest Mugandani Graced the Occasion.
